Housebreaking dogs is just like my three kids were when they were little, little puppies that are between 8 weeks and 12 weeks have no clue what you are wanting them to do. If we removed the diaper on the infant then I can promise you that he will mess up the carpet. The only reason he doesn't: the diaper.

Dog housebreaking is much more to do with teaching our puppy how and where to pee… much more than punishing him when he does pee in the wrong spot. Getting mad at the dog when you are housebreaking him only lets him know that you are angry… but if you didn't catch him doing the dirty- he has no clue what you are getting angry about.
